Founder
Mark is the owner and founder of Muscle Restoration Therapy. He has a passion to help others and deliver positive results. Mark uses a client-centered, personalized approach to determine the right treatment for clients of all ages. Mark designed and developed an innovative technique resulting in a systematic approach to biomechanically test and treat muscle dysfunction. He is the first therapist in the nation to combine the use of a low-level laser with techniques learned from massage therapy, physical therapy, and chiropractic, which ultimately led to the formation of Muscle Restoration Therapy. Mark is currently the only therapist in the nation practicing this specialized treatment, often referred to as MRT therapy.
Mark received his Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science from the University of Nebraska. He graduated from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy with honors, is a Licensed Massage Therapist, a Certified Muscle Activation Specialist, a Muscle Restoration Therapist in addition to holding previous certifications from ACSM, NASM, and ACE.
Mark enjoys the great Colorado outdoors with favorites including snowshoeing, skiing, wakeboarding, hiking, and mountain biking. He’s an avid concert enthusiast and loves live music. For the past ten years, Mark has used his experience, his education and training, as well as extensive research to design a unique, healing practice based on Therapy Techniques that combine the best of multiple healing modalities. His knowledge of anatomy combined with his extensive professional expertise and compassionate approach drive his primary objective: “to help clients be pain-free as quickly as possible.
Licensed Massage Therapist
Craig Brinkman, LMT, is a skilled Certified Personal Trainer and Massage Therapist specializing in Muscle Restoration Therapy. With experience collaborating with physical therapists, acupuncturists, and chiropractors, Craig brings extensive knowledge to his practice. He is passionate about helping clients improve their physical well-being through personalized massage techniques.
Outside of work, Craig enjoys hiking, playing disc golf, dancing at concerts, and staying active to maintain his own health. He loves spending time outdoors and traveling with his wife Hellen. Known for his compassionate and client-focused approach, Craig tailors each session to meet individual needs, promoting healing and self-care.
Office Manager
Jonah Otte is the Office Manager at Muscle Restoration Therapy (MRT). His journey to MRT began through a personal connection with Mark, the clinic’s founder. With a degree in economics and a background in finance, business, and marketing, Jonah was a perfect fit for the role when MRT expanded. He spent four years as a commodity broker before moving into sales and marketing, bringing valuable experience to the clinic.
Jonah plays a crucial role in streamlining clinic operations, ensuring that clients receive efficient, quality care. His belief in MRT’s therapies comes from personal experience, having used them for shoulder surgery recovery and an ACL and meniscus tear. Outside of work, Jonah enjoys snowboarding, hiking, fishing, and spending time exploring with his dog Maverick. A proud Nebraska Cornhuskers fan, Jonah also cherishes his roots on a farm in Eastern Nebraska. His love for staying active aligns with MRT’s mission to help clients stay pain-free and continue doing what they love.
SoftWave & Laser Technician
Aidan Hoke is a Licensed Massage Therapist that recently entered the field of bodywork. He had an 11-year career in HVAC maintenance and construction in Northern Colorado before going to school for massage. Aidan‘s background in weightlifting gave him a hands-on experience of anatomy as well as injuries. Aidan combines Class IV Laser Therapy and Shockwave Therapy with empathy and skill.
Aidan is a problem solver at home as well as at work and enjoys working with his hands. His creativity comes out through silversmithing, fixing cars, and a passion for psychology.
